Airpac Bukom's range of WB12 Joy Booster
Compressors are constructed to safely compress Air, Natural
Gas or Nitrogen and can be operated in either a single stage
or double stage configuration, available in either Zone II
(certified for open deck hazardous area operation) or Rigsafe
specification.
The range offers pressure capabilities up to 159barg (2300 psig)
and volumes to 107.6m3/min (3800scfm) for single stage configuration and
2400scfm for double stage configuration.
Fitted with either battery or air start, stainless steel spark
arrestors and overspeed protection. An emergency shutdown system
is also fitted to all models, enabling instant shutdown from
the drill floor in the event of gas detection or similar hazard.
The unit is constructed in a four point lifting frame, designed
to meet the rigours of high pressure oilfield operations in the Air Drilling,
Underbalanced Drilling (UBD) and Pipeline sectors.
